October 2020
A group of Hollywood Gaming Team Members were out in the community helping Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton as part of our Hollywood Cares program. We had the opportunity to help on two separate work sites, performing all kinds of duties ranging from painting to carpentry work to preparing for concrete to be poured. It was a lot of hard work, but as always was very rewarding for our team members. We are so proud to be able to spend some time giving back to the local Dayton community.

The Hollywood Cares Team spent some time last week at Hannah's Treasure Chest. We built some storage shelves, helped move some products around, restocked some shelves, a little bit of everything. Our assistance will provide the everyday volunteers a little better opportunity to fulfill all the orders that are coming in from all of their great partner organizations. Another successful Hollywood Cares event, one we will definitely do again.

Hollywood Gaming is proud to support The Foodbank, Inc. in Dayton in any way that we can. Last week, 13 team members from Hollywood were part of a group of 130 local volunteers that helped to provide assistance to some local families experiencing food insecurity. Overall, the event provided roughly 150,000 lbs of food to 1,136 households, 700 of which were new to the emergency food opportunity. All in all, 3,341 individuals were served in three hours.

Hollywood Dayton Team Members visited The Grotto Gardens at The Dayton VA Medical Center, where they helped to plant a tree, mulch, weed, and clear out some land for the garden volunteers to plant some new flowers. It was a beautiful day to put in some hard work to help add to this peaceful place for our local Veterans.
